When I wanted a cleanser that didn’t contain parabens, (which I’ll be talking a lot about) wasn’t tested on animals, and would still stand up to remove the most stubborn eye make up I wasn’t sure what exactly I would find.
Luckily the staff at Whole Foods gave a glowing recommendation to the Pangea Calendula & Blood Orange Cleanser. I was hesitant since I tend to be oily and it wasn’t the foaming cleanser I was used to. It turns out there’s a reason they only carry this one cleanser- because it’s perfect. While it isn’t a foaming cleaner, it isn’t a milky one either, it’s creamy and doesn’t break down with water and scrubbing and removes all traces of mascara. The Calendula is an anti-inflammatory so it calms redness while the Blood Orange removes grease and impurities. The ingredients are 100% organic and the packaging is recyclable- plus the company is Boulder based.
